Next morning, both Riko & Teppei are lying asleep in bed. Riko wakes up first, looks at Teppei, remembering the Teppei's message "Riko, I love you too!!! Teppei" As she slowly pulls her arm from underneath him...."It's time...." "Time for what?" "Time for our kiss...." & she looks at Teppei still fast asleep........

Teppei wakes up & not finding Riko next to him, turns around to see her sitting in front of the refrigerator, mumbles "What are you doing?" Riko turns around, looks at him, smiles & turns away. Teppei looks up & sees what's she's written on the fridge 'Teppei, su....' Teppei slides out of bed with a smile "Stop that....don't write that you like me...." "Why?" asks Riko as Teppei puts his arms around her grabbing the pen "It's red too! It's permanent ink....not going to come off....really...." Riko tells him "Doesn't matter if it doesn't come off....I feel like shouting out loud, even walking around town with a placard it's fine with me!" Teppei says "Do as you wish...." "I'll do as I wish....Teppei....Teppei...." she mutters scribbling on the fridge. Teppei sits on the chair on the floor letting her do as she pleases. "It's done! It's done!" Teppei, facing the opposite direction mutters "I know...." "It's done!" Teppei half laughs "I know...." Riko gets up to her feet "I said it's done!" swing Teppei around who mutters "What?" The look on his face changes as he reads what Riko's written "What's that...." Riko says "Last night's....impression...." Teppei looks at the fridge again 'Teppei, sukebe' & then grimaces, a little embarrassed "yeahhhh...."

Coming into the office Teppei grabs Riko's bag & pulls her out of sight from the others "You go first." "Why can't we go in together?" "It'll be troublesome if people see...." "Then janken to decide" Riko loses & Teppei pushes her "You lose!" "Ahh!" Right then Hioki & Hosaka come by "Good morning....you guys came to work together?" Riko replies "We met on the same train...." & Teppei cuts in "by chance...." "That's great...." as they all troop into the office. Entering a round of good mornings go off & Riko sees Yoda making tea says "Sorry, I'll make the tea...." An OL says to Teppei "There's a meeting later...." Yoda says "Riko-chan, what's happening today? Really casually dressed...." "Yes, I stayed over last night...." & Teppei whacks her on her head "No respect for the office...." Yoda says "But it suits you...." "Thanks...." Tsuji calls "Katagiri! Have you returned the shoe samples we borrowed from Nakano Shoes?" "Ah, I forgot!" "Oi, oi! Please! They'll complain to me...." "Sorry! I'll return them now...." says Teppei, getting the boxes of shoes. "Hurry!" says Tsuji & Riko offers "I'll help!" Teppei says "It's fine!" Riko grabs one box "It's ok, I'll help!" "Take more!" Yoka tells them "Be careful!" "We'll see you later!" says Riko going out with Teppei. Kurosaki says "What's with the two of them?" Ootemon & Hioki shrug "Don't know...."

In the elevator Teppei grumbles "Don't keep following me wherever I go...." "Why?" asks Riko, taking another box from him. "What do you mean why? It's bound to be troublesome!" "Why would it be troublesome? It's fine with me...." Teppei continues griping "Society's........there are a lot of people who are jealous of office love affairs. There are a lot of people over 35 who haven't been able to get married....it'll be a bother (if we're found out)" "Really? But I don't care...." says Riko stepping out of the elevator. Teppei follows "You're really carefree about it....if things go smoothly it's fine....but if things don't go smoothly then it'll be troublesome. The OL's in the office will say unpleasant things...." Riko stops "If things don't go smoothly?" Teppei turns around "No....things are fine now but no one knows what will happen in the future...." Riko asks "Is that what you think?" Teppei replies "That's the way love goes...." Riko gets angry "Why do you say that? Who are you still thinking of?" "No such thing...." says Teppei turning to go. Riko goes after him & kicks him "Ow!" Riko puts all the boxes on top of the ones Teppei's holding "Wait!" Riko says "Go by yourself!" Teppei balancing the boxes goes "Why? Wait! Oi!" but Riko just walks off in a huff....

Mizuhara at work says on the phone "Then thank you...." & hangs up. A man says "Excuse me, but...." Mizuhara looks up "Goh-san! It's been a while...." "Sanae-san, thank you for helping out the last time....thanks to you, I wasn't prosecuted...." "That's great! Your wife wasn't expatriated either...." "Expatriated? What do you mean?" Mizuhara is looks at the man wordless....

At the office meeting Kurosaki says "then that's it for the whole year's sales....there will be a lot of bounenkai's (year end parties) but don't drink too much...." Everyone says "Yes...." "One more thing....the customary employee trip....any volunteers to get this organized? Ootemon?" Ootemon says "ah, uhm....Yoda...." "Eh? Hioki!" "Eh? Tsuji!" "Hosaka!" "Eh? But organizing this takes up a lot of time!" Teppei says "Doesn't it...." Riko leans over & says to Teppei "Down the side...." "Eh?" "There's a big hole on your suit...." Teppei raises his arm to look "No way! I just bought this!" Kurosaki says "Katagiri!" "Yes?" "You do it!" Everyone goes "Oh!" & Kurosaki praises him "Offering to do something the others don't like, you've got a good heart...." Everyone cheers "Yes! Katagiri's doing it! Go to it!" Teppei stares at Riko, if looks could kill........

At the book store, Riko's flipping through a magazine & Teppei grabs her bag, drags her to another section "Come help me look for a hotel & do the arrangements...." Riko pouts "Do as you please....it's got nothing to do with me....if I'm too nice to you, others will get suspicious 'By any chance are those two in love?'.... Teppei says "Would you rather I announce to everyone 'I've done it with this girl! I love her, I really love her....we're in love....going steady'....will you be satisfied?" Riko says in a huff "I didn't mean that! I just don't like having to sneak around!" Teppei looks at her & says "Then, how about having nabe at home? Hmmm? & invite my brother & Mizuhara too....I'll introduce you as my girlfriend....you won't complain will you...." Riko smiles & says "Kachou likes the outdoors so I think it's better to pick a place with a bigger bath (onsen = hotspring)...." Taking a magazine she says "Let's go to this place....look...."

In a parking lot sitting in his car Soichiro says to Shiraishi "I apologize for before....I thought I could make it up to you for a moment....but ended up not doing anything....holding you only ended up hurting you more...." Shiraishi says with a cynical laugh "People never change huh....I heard you say this 4 years ago....as if I'm watching an old video...." "Maybe....but in the end, I still couldn't help you...." Shiraishi lights a cigarette & says "Coward...." She gets out of the car & standing in front of it, stares at Soichiro through the windscreen. She walks away, leaving her cigarette on the hood of the car....

At the Fu-ra night club, Riko & Erika are talking & laughing. Erika says "So, you & Teppei are going steady....that's great...." "Uhm!" Riko agrees. Erika suggests "Then let's celebrate tonight...." "Yes lets...." Erika shouts across to the bartender "Sugi-chan! A bottle of champagne please! Ah, not to expensive one!" Riko asks "Why?" "Doesn't matter...." "You're rich!" Erika sighs "Will I get a chance too?" "Eh?" "Nothing let's celebrate" Just then Sasaki comes in with Yoshimoto & Erika sees them "Oh!" Sasaki greets them "Hi! How're you doing?" "Hi! Fine fine....sit down...." "It's empty?" Yoshimoto looks rather awkward & Riko says to him "Thanks for the oranges....there's something I have to say....uhm....I...." "going steady with Teppei...." finishes Yoshimoto. Riko goes "Uhm" & Sasaki asks "Is that right?" Erika tells them "That's true! Finally there's someone who wants Riko...." "Enough already!" says Riko. Sugi-chan comes over "Here....champagne...." Sasaki suggests "Let's have a toast...." Erika says to Sugi-chan "Two more glasses please...." as she opens the bottle. "Be careful!" says Riko. The bottle pops open & they cheer....

Soichiro comes home & Mizuhara says to him "You're late...." As he takes his jacket off he says "Had to interview a victim so took longer than expected...." "What about dinner?" asks Mizujara, putting on an apron. "I've eaten...." answers Socihiro leaving the room. Mizuhara recalls what Soichiro & Goh said to her "Do you remember someone by the name of Goh? His wife was staying here illegally....was sent back....Expatriated? What do you mean?"........Soichiro comes back & Mizuhara looks at him. "What?" he asks but she merely goes "Uhm, nothing....got a call from Te-chan just now, asked if we could go by for nabe this Friday...." "Nabe?" asks Soichiro with a smile. "I'll go make some tea...." says Mizuhara smiling back....

At Teppei's apartment, Riko is mixing a sauce muttering "sesame, sesame...." Teppei & Mizuhara are in the kitchen "It's perfect!" arranging the food on a plate. Soichiro says "I'm opening the wine...." Bring the food in Teppei says to Riko "You should come & help out in the kitchen!" "I was mixing the sesame...." "Who doesn't know how to do that!" Riko reaches for a carrot "Ah it's cute! Flower shaped carrots!" Teppei takes it from her "Ah! We can do that with this!" "What? Ah, wait wait!" says Riko, taking another one. They do a trick with it & everyone goes "Wow!" Teppei says "I've done it!" "That's great!"

As they're eating Riko says "I'd like to asks Soichiro...." "Eh?" "When did your brother start being such a sukebe?" Soichiro laughs & Riko continues "When I was cleaning up this place the other day, I found all his pornographic books, asked him to throw them out but he wouldn't...." Teppei butts in "She's really annoying isn't she...." "Would you like to see them?" asks Riko about to go get them but Teppei grabs on to her "We're eating!" He tells Soichiro & Mizuhara "She even asked me how many girls I went out with before...." Riko replies "There shouldn't be secrets between lovers...." "You don't have to ask that!" Soichiro pours some wine for Teppei "Hey...." "Ah, thank you....ah, what happened to that?" "Huh?" "Goh's wife....wasn't expatriated?" "Uhm, I met her the other day....she was very grateful...." "That so?" says Teppei. Mizuhara looks at Soichiro & knows he's lying. Teppei continues "That's great...." & then to Riko he says "But don't you think prosecutors like my brother who are so concerned about others are rare?" "Rare...." replies Riko about to add more food into the nabe when Teppei stops her "Don't add any more udon (noodles)...." "Why?" "Why? Add more shrimp in so the soup will get tastier...." Mizuhara finally says to Soichiro "I also met Goh-san the other day.... Soichiro stares at her as she tells him "His wife is still in China....this expatriation thing....why are you lying? Soichiro?" Teppei & Riko stare at the both of them. Soichiro says to her "Why are you asking this now?" Mizuhara replies "I didn't think it was a big deal....I don't think it's a big deal but I still don't like that you're hiding something...." "As a public prosecutor, it's easie to become a target of criminals....I don't want to worry my family that's why I lied...." "That's strange! If we're family then you should be able to say anything!" Soichiro loses his cool "I don't want my family to bother me questioning whatever I'm working on!" "How can you say that!" says Mizuhara getting upset. Teppei cuts in "That's enough! Stop! Stop! Right here....how come even both of you are fighting over a little thing? It's like a student meeting....work....family....if you're fighting to that level, then the both of us squabbling over whether or not to throw out the pornographic book feel ashamed...." Riko agrees "That' true! Come, have a drink & make up!" taking the wine bottle "It's finished...." Teppei says "In the fridge...." Riko goes "Beer! Beer ok? Drink & make up....how come there's no beer? Ah, I'll go buy some...." Riko takes Teppei's jacket "Can I borrow this? Soichiro, you come too? A girl walking alone in the middle of the night isn't safe....come on, hurry up!" Soichiro gets up from the table saying to Teppei "I'll go...." Riko says "We're going!" Teppei replies "ok...." & the both of them go out, leaving Teppei & Mizuhara looking a little uncomfortable........

Walking along carrying beer & wine, Riko says to Soichiro "I thought you were more conservative in comparison to Teppei, but that's not true is it...." "Eh?" "You've fooled around at least once before haven't you?!" teases Riko. Soichiro merely answers "No...." Riko continues "That face looks very serious but in truth....ah so, public prosecutors are also very popular huh! Get women who say stuff like "You can check me from head to foot" right?" "Never had that experience...." "Never had that experience? What a way of speaking....understand? understand? When someone says that, you're supposed to say "Happens all the time!" After that, then you say "Kidding! I was kidding!" to lighten up the atmosphere. This is a conversation technique...." "Technique?" "Technique....haven't you heard of this before? Technique...." Soichiro smiles "Understood....next time I'll do that...." Suddenly Riko shouts "Stop!" Soichiro looks at her as she says "Tomare (Stop)" & they look at the sign on the road. Riko hands Soichiro the wine & says "I'll go buy some snacks, you go back first...." "Be careful...." "Uhm" says Riko running off....

Back at Teppei's apartment, Mizuhara is standing outside in the veranda. Teppei says to her "Everything will be alright, my brother isn't fooling around with another woman...." Mizuhara looks at Teppei who says to her "Just now....it was the same when you thought I was fooling around in high school....don't worry! You're getting married to him soon...." Mizuhara nods "Uhm" Teppei mutters "It's cold...." & goes back inside, sitting on the bed. Mizuhara goes in as well & Teppei says "I think you're trying too hard to become a good person....that's why you're under stress & then exploding...." Mizuhara doesn't say anything, merely sits on the bed. Teppei continues "Ah, it's the same as that....yeah, onara (breaking wind)...." Mizuhara looks at him "Eh?" "It's like you're holding back all this time in front of everyone, & then when it's the quiet, than 'ppsstt' it comes out!" Mizuhara starts laughing & Teppei goes "No?" Mizuhara cracks up & Teppei says "Is it that funny?" "You're always like that...." says Mizuhara. Just then Soichiro comes back & stands outside the door listening. Mizuhara says "When I'm down & don't know what to do, you always say strange things to cheer me up...." "Really? Shhhh!" Mizuhara looks at him & then Teppei says "ppssstt!" & the both of them laugh. Mizuhara says "It's been such a long time since I laughed like this....sometimes I think...." "What?" "When I found out you were fooling around, why did I insist on breaking up?" Teppei tells her "That's because you didn't really like me...." Mizuhara thinks & then says "No, not that....I wanted to become a good person....I didn't want you to see me jealous & unpleasant....I wanted the beautiful memories to remain beautiful....frozen forever...." Teppei looks uncomfortable & Mizuhara, a little awkward continues "But maybe it would have been better if we had argued & fought...." As Soichiro stands outside listening all this while, Riko comes back & they both go in "We're back!" "Bought the beer for you...." "Thanks!" "It's really cold outside...." says Riko coming in & taking off the jacket "Thanks for lending this to me....". As she puts the jacket away she says "What's this pair of gloves? So cute! Give them to me!" Riko holds out the golves that Mizuhara knitted for Teppei. Teppei goes up & takes them from her "Enough...." "TK...." "Put them away, don't touch...." Another awkward moment & Teppei says "Have some wine....since you guys went out specially to buy it...." "That's true!" adds Riko & Soichiro says "Let's drink together...."

Later on Teppei & Riko clean up. Passing each other going into the kitchen they get in each other's way "What?" Finally Riko takes the gloves & says "You got this from Sanae? Why did you hide them just now?" "They were already fighting, it would've made things worst if...." "So you don't want your brother to get suspicious? Is there anything between the you & Sanae that you can't say to others?" Teppei half mumbles "No such thing...." Riko tells him "Said very softly....really softly! Ha! There must be something you're hiding!" "No such thing!" says Teppei loudly. Looking at each other they smile & Teppei taps her on the head "You've got to get over this jealously bit...." "But then, in front of your ex-girlfriends, do I have to follow everything you say? Agreeing 'yes yes' to whatever you egoistically say?" "You're the one that's being egoistic! I'm the one that's giving in to you...." "Giving in to me? What's that supposed to mean?" "Like having nabe today, was just because of you....really tired, give me a back massage...." says Teppei. Riko says "What's that?! Aren't you're just trying to be nice in front of everyone...." giving Teppei a 'massage'. Teppei goes "Ow!" Riko says  'hmph!" going to the fridge & taking out a beer. Teppei says to her "So! You don't even understand how I feel! You're really self centered! Of all the girls I've gone out with, you're the worst!" Riko answers "What's that got to do with it? Aren't you going out with me because you enjoy being with me? Or is it because you don't have a choice?" Teppei says "Both sides have to give in to the other...." Riko puts her beer on the table "I've decided...." "What?" "That I won't be your girlfriend anymore....how can you expect me to go on with you if you keep telling me off...." Teppei says "That's true...." Riko turns around & says "Goodbye, unfortunate it's ended so quickly....but it's better to start again...." "That's right! Great foresight! Breaking off with a selfish perons like you, the sooner the better...." Riko says "From now on don't come within a 2 metre radius from me...." "2 meters? I understand...." Riko goes out & slams the door. Teppei leans back & then starts smiling. He opens the door & sees Riko at the corner, shoeless. Teppei picks up her shoes & says "Who forgot this cute pair of shoes?" Riko walks up but Teppei says "2 meters 2 meters 2 meters!" Riko steps back & reaches out to take her shoes from him. Teppei says "Be careful you don't forget things...." Riko comes up & slams the door shut, Teppei going "Ow!" hobbling to his bed. Riko outside puts on her shoes muttering "What 2 meters...."

Everyone's on the bus going on their company trip. Teppei hands out snacks, Tsuji says to Kurosaki & the girls "Sit closer!" & takes their picture. Riko watches Teppei as he gets his picture taken as well. Teppei looks at her, not happy. Riko starts the busload singing "Ready...." Finally arriving at the hotel, they all get down, Teppei & Riko still giving each other dagger looks. In the lobby Teppei hands out the keys "Kurosaki kacho's is 816....tonight's dinner is at the IMPACT room on the 3rd floor at 6....this is Tsuji's, Ootemon's....who's going for golf tomorrow? Meet in the lobby at 7...." Riko asks "What about Karaoke? Karaoke?" "I'll check...." "You're the organizer aren't you?" The others say "I want to sing too...." Teppei assures everyone "There is....there is...."

Later all of them go fishing, shouting & cheering when they all catch something. Riko catches one & across the pool, Teppei catches another "It's a big one!" "I caught that!" he says thrilled. Riko looking from a distance says "What? What's so great about that?" Teppei looks at Riko & his expression changes....

At the souvenir corner, Riko says to Teppei "Flower picture postcards....for Sanae huh...." "She really loves flowers, someone as unrefined as you wouldn't understand the care that goes into growing flowers...." "I am taking proper care of that cactus you gave me!" "You're kidding....how?" Teppei mutters. Riko goes "Eh?" "You would just put it aside....that's why I gave you the cactus...." Teppei goes over & looks at something else with Riko following closely "Hato? Hato-man?" (Hato = pigeon (a brand), manjuu = buns with bean-jam filling) That's the local specialty....for Soichiro....really tough huh, trying to decided which....be careful you don't go bald...." Ootemon overhears "What's that?" Riko quickly explains "Not about you, this...." pointing at Teppei who's walked off "This guy!" Teppei says to Ootemeon as he passes him "Really annoying isn't it....talking about people behind their backs...." Ootemon looks at Riko....

Teppei goes with the guys for a bath "The hot spring?" "Yes" "Where is it?" "Just up in front...." "Is it unisex?" They laugh & Yoda asks Teppei "Can we ask you something? We're a little curious, what's going on between you & Riko-chan?" "Recently you guys have been acting strange...." They pass by Riko & she overhears Teppei replying "There's nothing between us...." & the others go "Really....eh?" teasing him. Riko looks on in a huff....

Riko in the pool next to the guys overhears Teppei say "You guys don't know her that's why you say that...." "What? What do you mean? She's so cute, you're not saying that she's got some strange habits?" "Just sloppy!" "Eh?" "She won't throw away tissues that she's used to blow her nose...." "Eh? We didn't notice!" "I have to pick up after her & throw them away...." "Really?!" "& she's really self-centered....doesn't have words like 'thank you' & 'sorry' in her dictionary!" Riko on the other side of the partition mutters "I do!" The guys says "But she's always very polite to us...." Teppei continues "That's just 2 sides of her personality....dual personality...." "Is that right? Can't tell...." Teppei then says "Ah, there's something else....I'll only say it here...." "What? What?" "When she puts her fringe back, there's soft downy hair still growing, just like daigorou...." Riko on the other side unclips her hair & listens to the guys going "Really?" Riko decides to take revenge & goes get a basin of water. Right then the guys get up to go "We're going up first...." as Kurosaki comes by. Teppei says "I'm going up too...." Just then the basin of cold water comes across the partition & onto Kurosaki, Riko peeping over the top. Teppei turns around & says "That wasn't me...." looking at Kurosaki & then at Riko....

At the dinner Kurosaki sneezes. Teppei on stage says "Kachou, are you alright? This is the Eikou Agency holiday, I hope everyone enjoys themselves. Now for the toast, Kurosaki kachou, please...." Everyone cheers & Kurosaki makes the toast "Today, don't stand on ceremony, everyone drink, eat, make noise, refresh yourselves....then cheers!" Everyone says "Cheers!" Teppei takes the place next to Riko but she says "Why are you sitting here?" "I'm the organizer...." "Didn't I say keep your distance?" "Then you go...."

Mizuhara is in the kitchen preparing dinner when the phone rings. She answers "Hello, this is Katagiri....hello?" but no one answers on the other end. She hangs up & goes back into the kitchen. Then thinking, she turns & looks at the telephone....

Drinking, Yoda asks Teppei "Is everything ok with kachou?" "Huh?" "This morning...." "Yes, everything's fine...." Riko has some problems eating the crab & the Hosaka says "Let me do it...." Riko asks "Karaoke! Is it alright? May I kacho?" "Sure! Riko-chan is going to sing!" Right then there's a knock on the door. Sliding open a couple of girls ask Teppei "Is this the Eiko Agency?" "Yes" Teppei replies looking at his watch "Ah, wait a second!" Teppei goes on stage & announces "That's Entertainment....it's time for what everyone's been looking forward to....please come in...." The door opens & a bunch of girls come into the room amidst all the cheering. Kurosaki says "Katagiri! You arranged this? Really thoughtful!" An older lady comes & sits in front of Kurosaki "Hello, here...." offering to pour some liquor. One of the women says to Teppei & Ootemon "May I sit between the both of you?" "Sure...." Riko watching, goes back to her place. The lady says "Everyone's really young....how old are you?" Teppei answers "25" "25? Single?" Teppei looks at Riko & says on purpose "Of course!" "Single!" "I'm looking for a girlfriend right now...." "Really? May I be considered?" "Really? Then let me have your number later...." "I will...." Right then Kurosaki calls him "Katagiri!" "Yes!" "Come here!" Going over Kurosaki says to Teppei "Do you know what choyou means (Elders taking precedence over the young)...." Teppei merely looks at him. Kurosaki continues "In the olden days, elders...." Teppei looks at the middle aged lady & says "I understand, I understand...." The lady says "How about you?" offering the liquor. Teppei says "No thanks...." .... going back to his seat tells the lady "Can you go sit with kacho?" "Kacho?" "Yes" "Over there?" "Is it alright?" "Sit over there?" "Uhm" "OK, I'll be back soon....wait for me...." "Uhm...." Riko looks mad & Teppei knows it....

Soichiro comes home "I'm back!" "Welcome home...." greets Mizuhara. Walking into the room & looking into the kitchen "Stew? Looks delicious!" The phone rings & as Mizuhara is about to answer it, Soichiro says "It's ok, I'll get it...." Going into the bedroom he answers "Hello...." "It's me...." says Shiraishi. "Right now I'm in front of your apartment....I want to see you...." Soichiro answers "I can't...." "I thought you'd say that....you have a bright future ahead as a public prosecutor, you also have a pretty fiancee....it's natural that you want to protect all that....I don't have anything, no family, no future....if I could forget about you, it'll be a relief...." Mizuhara sets the table as Soichiro comes out of the room & says to her "I'm sorry, I have to work....I'll eat later...." Mizuhara follows him out "Before you came back there were a couple of calls earlier....although no one said anything on the other end, I don't think it's just a prank...." Soichiro says to her "It's just a prank, if it happens again don't bother answering...." Mizuhara asks "What are you hiding from me? I know you're worried about something, please tell me what happened?" Soichiro doesn't answer & moves to leave but Mizuhara says "Don't run away, answer me!" Soichiro turns around & says to her "Don't you also have something deep in your heart that you've never told me?" "What are you saying?" "The gloves in Teppei's house....you did that for him, didn't you...." says Soichiro, looking at her & then goes out....

A very drunk Tsuji says to Teppei "It's a great feeling! This is great! You have to be the organizer next time...." "You've had a bit too much to drink!" says Teppei with a laugh. As he goes in Teppei grimaces. Riko coming by says to Tsuji "I can see your chest!" "Sorry!" Riko says to Teppei "I guess it's about time to go back to our rooms....they're all a little weird...." "Why don't you go back....even if you're here, you're just like an additional fly that's all...." Teppei turns around & going back in, the lady comes out "Found you! I was looking for you, where did you go?" Riko looks as the woman give him a piece of paper "My number....call me...." & kisses him. The others come out make a lot of noise & the woman goes in with them. Riko's upset & goes off. Teppei looks at her & then goes after her....

"Wait up!" as Riko runs outside. "Oi! It's dangerous!" says Teppei as Riko goes over the little bridge. Riko says "You're despicable! Sukebe, irresponsible, sarcastic! Of all the people I've gone out with, you're the worst!" Teppei replies "It's the first time for me meeting such an obstinate girl!" "You're the one that's stubborn! Going out with me & then flirting around with another woman in front of me...." "Wait....wait....we're going around together?" "But...." Teppei puts on a puzzled expression "Eh? Didn't we just break up last night?" "That's correct!" "& you said that I couldn't come within a 2 meter radius of you!" "Of course!" says Riko upset. Teppei smiles & then says "That's not good....broke up & then now the both of us out here during dinner....people will definitely start talking!" Riko stands there not saying anything. Teppei says "This is really a bother, let's just get back together!" "What are you saying?! 2 meter radius!" but Teppei ignores her & walks towards her "50cm....30cm....20cm....10cm...." standing right in front of her, he kisses her. Riko is speechless for a while & then pointing at the sky says "A shooting star!" Teppei doesn't look "Only an idiot would look...." "It's true!" "Where?" "Over there! Too late to make a wish....don't know if we can see another one...." "Not likely...." "That's not true....back in my hometown, deep in the Nagano mountains....when you climb to the top you can see shooting stars! One ever 10 seconds!" Riko continues "How about going there sometime?" "Uhm" agrees Teppei. Riko says "Promise?" holding out her little finger but when Teppei hesitates "No...." Riko says "Come on, don't be embarrassed, promise!" Teppei links his little finger with hers & then after that turns to go in "It's cold!" Riko stops him & Teppei thinks she's going to kiss him but instead she whispers into his ear "Let's go take a bath together...." Teppei looks at her "You're serious? Let's go!"

In the hot spring together Riko says "This is a little embarrassing....hey, the next time you see a shooting star, what would you wish for?" Teppei looks up into the sky "To become really good at what I want to do...." "Really good....?" "Regardless of what society says, or position in the company....& do the things that I feel is ok with me....just that, that's what I want...." "Then me too....do things as I see fit...." Teppei asks "With that character of yours?" Riko tells him "After I met you, I realized that finding myself is actually looking for happiness....after I came to Tokyo, I've been searching for who I am....no matter what I do, no matter who I'm with, I've never been as happy as I am now, truly....so, my wish is to be with you forever....only this...." Teppei looks at her "Even if we're fighting all the time?" Riko answers "It's fun even when we're fighting...." Teppei doesn't answer & Riko moves closer to him "For example....if today was the last day on earth, & even if Japan sank....as long as I'm wiith you, I'll be smiling right to the end...." A shooting star goes by as Riko says this. Teppei doesn't say anything & Riko grins "Look a little embarrassed...." Teppei has to have the last word "Idiot!" He goes near Riko but right then Ootemon comes by a little drunk. Teppei goes under water & Riko says "Ootemon-san....this is the ladies' bath...." "Ah sorry!" & goes off. Teppei comes up "It's hot!"

Back at the office Ootemon announces "Everyone, let's start the meeting...." Kurosaki says "Katagiri! Well done!" The other guys thank him as well. One of them says "My stomach hurts, give me some medication....no...." Riko serves tea all around when Teppei suddenly stands up "Excuse me, I have an announcement to make...." "A loss?" "No, that's fine....actually, I...." Teppei hesitates & one of the guys tease "Actually, I have athletes' foot!" & everyone laughs "Don't talk about such things so early in the morning...." Teppei finally picks up the courage & says "I'm going steady with Uesugi!" Riko looks at Teppei in shock as he says "I just don't want us to be sneaking around....sorry, that's it...." He sits down & Riko looks at everyone who says "Congratulations!" The guys clap & then say "Actually I knew that already! Me too! Everyone did!" Teppei looks uncomfortable. Finally the guys say "Let's start...." & Teppei tells Riko "The tea...." & she continues serving everyone tea, a smile on her face....

At home, Riko in seventh heaven says dreamily "Actually I....have athletes' foot....actually I'm going steady with Uesugi...." 

Teppei takes the souvenirs going out....

Riko repeats "actually I'm going steady with Uesugi...."

Teppei goes to Soichiro's apartment........

Mizuhara on the phone asks "Who's this?" "Poor thing....always waiting for him at home....I was with him last night....he's definitely cheating on you....he's that sort of a person....only protecting himself, never caring for any one else....if you don't mind that sort of a person, then go ahead & marry him...." Mizuhara listens in silence, tears running down her face. Teppei rings the doorbell. Mizuhara hangs up & goes to the door. Teppei who's about to leave comes back "What? You're in!" Teppei gives her the bag of goodies "I brought this....bought this when we went on the company trip...." Mizuhara gives a watery smile "Thank you!" Teppei asks "What's wrong?" but Mizuhara shuts the door & locks it. Teppei bangs on the door "Oi! Why are you crying?" Mizuhara on the other side of the door cries "Please! Go home! Go home!"
