At the office, Hosaka hands some papers to Riko "Riko-chan, here....thanks...." "ok...." Riko says with a smile. Teppei walks in "I'm back" & a chorus of 'welcome back's go off. Riko however ignores him as Teppei sits down at his desk. He mutters "Tired...." & then remembers what Riko said earlier "....I slept with Yoshimoto....we were together the whole night!" Teppei takes a little pink soft toy on his desk & has a conversation with it " 'I'm back!' then one should say 'welcome back!' to the person otherwise it's rude...." As he goes on talking, Tsuji comes by & puts a box of goodies on Riko's table "Riko, give this out to everyone...." Riko says "ok...." with Teppei still going on "....but then again it's nice when it's quiet too!" Riko hears & says out to everyone "I'll making tea!" As she makes it, Teppei watches her & thinks about what she said "If you don't like him don't do that sort of thing!" Riko turns around & tells Teppei off "Who are you to say that to me?! Hiding one's feelings & being with someone else....how lonely that feels you should understand! Why say that?! The person that you really like....the person that you really like is someone else!" Teppei sighs, takes out a cigarette & lights it. Riko places a cup of tea on his desk "Here....everyone, the snacks look really delicious, please take some...." Everyone says "Really? Then we'll take some....really feel like eating....what flavor...." as they come by Riko's desk & help themselves. Teppei asks "Who sent it?" Ootemon answers "It's from Tadoishi- san...." Teppei takes one & opens it. Holding it out to Riko he politely says "You're not eating?" Riko stares at him. He offers it to her but Riko gives him the whole box instead "Here...." & puts it on his desk. Teppei stops for a second & then eats the one he's holding "Ah, sesame in it...." looking at Riko, who does a pretty good job of ignoring him....

At home, Riko's rearranging her apartment. Dragging the mattress halfway across the floor she stops & says "What am I doing?"

Teppei comes home, puts his bag on the chair, drops his jacket on the floor & opens the fridge "No water...." Going into the kitchen he turns on the faucet but no water flows out "What's wrong?" He bangs on the wall a couple of times & finally water gushes out of the faucet. Teppei fills the glass, turns the faucet off & finally drinks the water. Teppei goes out of the kitchen, the faucet turned off, dripping water....

At the office Kurosaki on the phone says "Yes....really sorry...." Teppei puts some documents on Riko's desk saying "Here, thanks...." & then about to leave he says "I'm going out!" Kurosaki calls "Katagiri!" "Yes!" "That was from Shinoyama Fu-Zu's public relations department want the material by tomorrow...." "That's a little rushed...." "That kachou is always unreasonable...." "Tomorrow....then, let's put everything together by tomorrow & give them a surprise...." "Can you do it?" "Aa....by myself...." Teppei looks at Riko & then says "Ah, if Uesugi helps, I'm sure it's possible...." Kurosaki says "Uesugi! Can you work late tonight?" Riko replies with a big smile "Of course!" "Then alright!" "ok, then I'm going...." "Take care" As Teppei goes out he turns back to look at Riko & then goes out. Riko smiles & then catches herself when she remembers she's still supposed to be mad at him....

At the prosecutor's office along the corridor, Soichiro's colleague says "The person we made the appointment with couldn't make it, sorry....so we need you to help out with the translating" "So that's why...." "We'll finish early, then the two of you can relax...." Mizuhara says "It's been a long time, how about going out for dinner later?" "That's true....ok...." Just then Shiraishi comes up & says to Soichiro's colleague "Thank you for taking care of everything." "This is a chance to live a new life...." "Thank you very much...." Soichiro looks uncomfortable & ignores Shiraishi. His colleague says to him "Then, borrow your fiance...." Mizuhara says "Think about where you want to go for dinner...." & the both of them go off, leaving Soichiro alone with Shiraishi. He turns around to look at her & recalls what she said to him "....you're just like before....you'll never step on the wrong path....in the end, the only person you love is yourself...."

Back at the office, Hosaka on the phone goes "Yes, yes....no....it's a little hard to read...." Ootemon stands up "Kachou, we have to go...." "Ah, then take care of this...." Kurosaki gives some papers to Teppei. Hosaka is still on the phone "I sent you the fax in the morning...." Kurosaki goes out "We're leaving...." "Take care!" Hosaka goes "400 is too little...."

Finally the office is left with only Teppei & Riko, both silently working. Riko reaches over & takes some papers from Teppei's desk. The atmosphere rather strained between them, Teppei says "Ah...." He slides over & takes a page from the pile of documents & starts to say something "In the end....that...." Riko looks at him & then her phone goes off. Teppei motions her to answer it. Taking her phone & answering it "Hello" It's Erika "Hello Riko? It's me" Riko on purpose says "Ah Yoshimoto!" Erika on the other end puzzled "Huh?" "Thanks for the other day, it was fun" Erika says with a grin "Ah, I know....Teppei's around isn't he" "When shall we meet again?" "What are you trying to do?" "Tonight? But I'm working late....you'll wait for me? What shall I do....today I'm wearing underwear that anyone can see me in...." "Ah, that strawberry one....no one wants to see...." "Doesn't really matter since it'll be taken off in the end....them, after I'm done I'll go....bye, wait for me...." Riko hangs up on Erika who's goes "Eh?! Hello? What....didn't even hear what I wanted to say!" Teppei & Riko carry on working for a bit but all of a sudden, Teppei reaches over to Riko's desk & takes the pile of papers back "You can go now, thanks...." Riko stares at him, then quietly stands up, takes her things & leave. As she walks outside along the corridor, Riko turns back to look at Teppei through the glass....

At a karaoke lounge, Riko is singing. "Next, you're next!" she tells Erika. Erika applauding says "I'm next" & takes the songbook. Riko however takes the book back from Erika "Give it to me....that song....that song.... ...." Erika says "Even if you want to do things that make him hate you, you end up making yourself unhappy...." "That's why I'm here to vent my frustrations...." "Is it all right going on like this?" "It's fine....being hated by him is a lot easier...." The music comes on & Riko says "Let's sing!" "Why is it always enka?" "This is the best time to sing enka!" (Enka = traditional Japanese songs) Erika says "I want to sing too!" grabbing for Riko's mike but she says "There's another mike there!" The both of them start singing & Riko points "Follow the lyrics!" "I wasn't wrong!" & then the carry on singing....

Soichiro goes into a bar. "Welcome!" & he replies "Long time no see...." to the bartender. "How long as it been?" asks the bartender. "About 10 years?" "So...." "Whiskey please...." "ok....the both of you disappeared suddenly....did you move after getting married?" "We broke up...." "Is that so?" "I left her...." Soichiro turns around & stares at the other end of the bar counter & says "Her mother killed someone before & was imprisoned. The victim was her father. In order to protect my future as a public prosecutor, I broke up with her."

Standing in front of Kurosaki, Teppei gets a blasting from the boss "Idiot! You did not revise the data, what are you doing! Leaving it like that shows bias on our part! Weren't the revised figures given to you!? What's this!" Riko at this time realizes something & looks at the computer. Teppei mutters "Revised...." looking at Riko. Teppei says "I'm sorry, my mistake...." "How can you take this data for the meeting? In the end we'll still have to hold the meeting with the data! Go an apologize to the customer!" Riko gets up & goes over "Excuse me, kachou!" but Teppei blocks her way & tells their boss "I'm sorry, I'll correct them & bring them...." "The meeting will be over by then....there's no need for that!" "Please let me try....otherwise I won't be satisfied...." "Do as you wish!" "I'm sorry!" mutters Teppei returning to his desk. Riko looks at Teppei. She goes back to her desk & picks up the phone. Teppei's phone goes off & he answers it "Hello" "What was the meaning of that?" Riko asks. When Teppei doesn't reply she continues "Why didn't you tell kachou that it was my fault?" Teppei says with a big sigh "It's also my fault....you finally willing to talk to me?" Riko looks at him & then looks away "You're being so nice to me....why?" Riko hangs up & Teppei follows, looking at her....

In Teppei's apartment, a water pipe's burst & water is all over the place. In the Indian restaurant below, water's leaking in as well & the waitress on the phone says "It's Katagiri's apartment....it's leaking & now flooding!" Hioki on the other end of the line says "leaking & flooding? Even if you tell me, I can't do anything, he's gone out at the moment....as soon as he gets back I'll tell him....I understand....bye...." Hosaka asks "Who was that?" "From Teppei place....said a water pipe's burst & it's flooding...." "What's that?" "Maybe we should call him...." "But he's done to apologize to the customer right now, not likely he can come back right away...." "That's true...." Riko listens without saying a word....

After work she goes over to Teppei's place. Walking by the Indian restaurant she hears some people taking "Are you closed?" "It's closed today...." Riko greets the guy outside "Good evening". Going upstairs she sees the waitress (or is she the owner?) of the restaurant & they both greet each other "Good evening". Inside the apartment Mizuhara is cleaning up & the plumber comes out of the kitchen saying "It's fixed!" "Thank you very much!" replies Mizuhara. The waitress say "Don't know what he's up to! Caused me to close the restaurant for a day!" The plumber says "I'll be going" "Thank you!" & the waitress says to Mizuhara "Thanks for helping...." Riko says to Mizuhara "Hello" "Good evening!" greets Mizuhara noticing her for the first time. "Waaaa...." says Riko, looking at the mess. Mizuhara says "It's all soaked...."

At the customer's place, the guy says "That's enough...." & stands up. Both Katagiri & Teppei stand up "We're really sorry...." Teppei goes "Yoshida kachou....excuse me...." "Katagiri!" Kurosaki takes the documents & gives it back to Teppei "It's no use, couldn't get the data ready on time....Let's ho...." "But...." Coming out of the customer's place Kurosaki says to Teppei "I understand, seeing you work so hard....but then again don't over do it.... "I'm not overdoing it...." "The results don't prove anything now....you have to learn how not to let your feeling get to you....otherwise how are you going to carry on being a salaryman?" Teppei thinks & then asks "Then, what do you consider this time as? If what I do now has an impact on my life, then this time is important to me...." "Then what happens if things don't work out smoothly?" "If I don't care what happens when I fail....if I shrink back just to avoid getting hurt....it'll ruin my image...." "Ruin your image!" repeats Kurosaki with a laugh....

Teppei goes to Fu-ra & as he enters, the DJ says to him "Everyone's here!" "Ah, thank you!" Erika, Yoshimoto, Sasaki are there & Teppei goes join them. Yoshimoto asks him "What happened recently? Busy? Haven't called me at all...." Teppei looks at him "But aren't you....don't you have a date with Riko tonight as well?" Yoshimoto doesn't know what Teppei's talking about "With Riko? Where? With me?" Teppei goes "huh?" Yoshimoto asks "What are you talking about?" Teppei tells the others "Excuse us for a bit...."

At Teppei's apartment, as Riko wipes that bronze statue by the door, she looks out into the veranda & sees Mizuhara putting out the carpet to dry. Mizuhara makes Teppei's bed & Riko cleans up, watching Mizuhara all the time....

Back at the Fu-ra, Teppei says "You had a fever & fell asleep?" "Uhm....I think so...." "Eh? What?!" Erika standing behind them listens as Yoshimoto says "I was really burning up, kind of in a daze....when I woke up I was on the floor....I think Riko came by but I didn't see her...." Teppei ponders & then says "Most people wouldn't sleep on the floor...." "Yeah, I guess...." "Then why would she lie to me?" "Because she likes you...." says Erika. Teppei turns around & looks at her as she continues "That's why she lied to you....try understanding her?" Yoshimoto says "Hey, let's go over there...." "Let's go?" Teppei goes over, grabs his bag & says to everyone "I've got to go...." "Teppei!" "Sorry!" says Teppei running out....Erika smile....

Coming back to his apartment he goes "What happened?" Riko sees him & hides behind the line of Teppei's clothes hanging out to dry. Mizuhara says "Welcome back! A water pipe burst & made a mess of everything! Came over when I got a call at Soichiro's...." Teppei runs into the kitchen "Water pipe? Where?" "It's repaired! We called the plumber so it's ok now, don't worry...." "Really? Thanks....sorry....all wet...." Riko finally says "Ah, I was asked by the guys in the office to come by...." taking the hair dryer & drying a book on the table. "Can you tell him for me please?" Mizuhara says "eh?" " I don't fell like talking to him right now...." Mizuhara looks at Teppei "But...." Teppei says "But you helped me clean up the place...." Riko says "But I was cursing you all the while...." Teppei finally sees the book Riko's drying & he goes "No way! Not this! Eh?" Mizuhara says "Looks like it can't be fixed...." Teppei tries to dry it & Mizuhara asks him "It's an important book?" Teppei replies "The other books don't matter, but this one....might be exaggerating but this book changed my life....when I was playing basketball in school, I never thought about my future....it was really popular at the time, being a copywriter....don't know why but when I read this book....I got really serious, decided that I wanted to become a copywriter....had nothing to do with it being popular...." Riko says "It's just a book, can't you buy another one?" Mizuhara adds "That's right! I'll help you look for it...." but Teppei says "No need....it's no longer published...." Teppei stands up & says "Coincidence maybe....I've been transferred to the business department too, I guess I don't need this any more...." Riko finally says "I'll be going....you guys can do the rest...." Teppei looks at her & says "Ah, I'll treat you to dinner...." "I said alreay...." Riko starts but then Mizuhara says "Come on....you've been working too...." "But...." says Riko. Just then her stomach rumbles & she mutters "my stomach's growling....

At the restaurant downstairs the waitress serves them some soup. Teppei says to her "Sorry about today...." "Really! Since we had to close today, you have to finish up all the food!" "Itatakimasu!" "Go ahead!" Riko takes a spoonful & makes a face when it's too spicy for her. Teppei says to Mizuhara "It's really spicy, is that ok?" "Uhm" nods Mizuhara as she takes a spoonful. Teppei says "It's hot huh....excuse me, can we have some water please?" Riko mutters "Treats me so differently...." "Huh?" "Hungry?" "Uhm" The waitress puts a glass of water on the table "Spicy?" "A little...." replies Mizuhara. Soichiro comes in "Teppei! Burst pipe....what happened?" "Nothing....it's ok now...." Mizuhara says "Sorry, I was a little worried so maybe what I wrote made it sound worse!" "But I got a shock when I read the note! I thought huge pipe burst or something...." Riko shifts over & says "Here...." Teppei tells him "Since you're here, eat with us...." "Alright then" "Excuse me, one more please...." Riko intorduces herself "I'm Uesugi, pleased to meet you....this soup is really delicious, try it...." "Is that so? Then I'll have the same...." Teppei stares at Riko....

Soichiro takes some of the soup & wipes his perspiration off. Teppei says "Are you alright? You're sweating! Excuse me, some water please!" Mizuhara remembers something "Ah! I forgot! Before I came a Kashiwagi-san called from the police department....sorry, I completely forgot...." "Really?" says Soichiro getting up, still suffering from the chilly effects. "Are you alright?" laughs Teppei. Soichiro go makes a phone call & Teppei & Riko start squabbling again "Why are you only eating that?" "Because I want to...." "If you leave these, she'll get mad!" & then Riko says to the waitress "Excuse me! Could I have some rakkyou (pickled scallion) please?" "Why would they have that here?" "This is Japan...." "This is an Indian restaurant...." "Ah, you remember the Shinoyama Fu-zu meet? I brought some of the rakkyou back...." "I liked that too....but you really, how could you take the rakkyou back?" Soichiro on the phone goes "This is Katagiri, what happened?" Teppei in the background continues "Kachou thought it was me!" "No, that time...." replies Riko. Soichiro goes "Eh? Shiraishi Nami?" Riko says "As a woman.... Teppei interrupts "One's suppose to run at a race...." "I just wanted to liven things up...." Soichiro says "I understand" & hangs up. Teppei carrying on says "What about you?!" "What?" "Karashi mentaiko?" "Tarako!" "Not karashi...." Soichiro comes over "Sorry, I've got to go...." Teppei asks "Why?" "Work's come up...." "Finish eating first!" "Can't, in a hurry....sorry...." & then as he goes out says to Teppei "Your treat...."

Things get a little awkward & Teppei says "Why does he always put a damper on things, really....if it were me I'd rethink about marrying him...." Mizuhara says "That's...." but Riko mutters "Crap...." Teppei says "What?" Riko mouths off "Don't you feel annoyed if an old boyfriend that dumped you is now so concerned? I'd hate it...." Mizuhara, a little embarrassed says "I...." Teppei tells Riko "Don't say that, you make her feel troubled...." "You're the one who's feeling troubled...." "What? I don't feel anything special for Mizuhara...." "Don't force yourself, people will start to laugh...." "You're the one that should be honest about your feelings...." "My feelings? what about them?" Teppei looks at Riko who continues "What would you know about my feelings? Being nice to me at work, it's only for your own self satisfaction!" "If you understand that then don't say anymore! Go home!" Riko retorts "I'm going!" grabs her jacket & leaves in a huff....

Walking furiously she hears Mizuhara running after her "Uesugi-san!" Riko mutters "no way!" Mizuhara catches up with her "You sure walk fast!" "I'm walking fast on purpose!" "I'm also going by this way...." Riko finally stops & looks at Mizuhara smiling back at her. Walking on Riko says "You're a nice person, coming after me...." "I think you're a nice person too...." "What?!" "Just now when you were arguing with Teppei, I could hear how much you cared for him....on top of that, you're not the kind that likes to lose to other people? Just like Te-chan....he's also someone who refuses  to lose to others & obstinate....but there are many kinds of people who refuse to lose out to others....like those who run when they face difficulties....or those that face reality no matter what...." Riko finally says "Am I running away?" "No, I'm just saying that Te-chan is the kind that will face anything head on....I understand him....when he used to play basketball....when he was worried or feeling down....he would never run away...." Riko says "Sanae-san, you said that you would look for that book....please don't look for it...." Why?" Riko replies "Because I'd like to look for it...." The both of them part with smiles on their faces....

Back at his apartment, Teppei sits & mulls over what Riko said earlier in the restaurant "My feelings? what about them? What would you know about my feelings!?"

The next morning Kurosaki gets a call from Riko "Is that so? You caught a cold again? Then take care, bye...." & announces to everyone "Uesugi's got a cold & is taking the day off...." Everyone goes "Yoda! Tea!" He replies "Making tea is not my job!" but goes & makes it anyway. Teppei goes to Kurosaki & says "Sorry, I'm going to Shinoyama Fu-zu...." "Eh? But yesterday...." "That's why I want to go again today....but to make amends to them I'd like to give them a discount for their newspaper advertising charges for next month...." Kurosawa says "Alright, 5%...." "I understand" "go!" Then to everyone he says "I'm going!" & everyone says "take care...." giving a glance at Riko's empty desk....

As he come out of the elevator at the lobby, his phone goes off "Hello" On the other end Rijo's coughing. Teppei asks "You got a cold again? Are you alright?" Riko cheerily says "I lied! Skiving from work!" "What are you up to?" "I've got something important to do...." "So....well, it's your life, do as you please....bye...." "Wait! I have something to give you...." "What?" "Tonight at 8, something good....I'll fax you the place....you must come...." "I might have to work late!" "Reject it!" "What's that?!" "Reject it!" "Aren't we supposed to be fighting?!" "We are?" "You...." "You have to come, if you don't, you'll regret it for the rest of your life!" says Riko & hangs up on Teppei.

Soichiro goes to see Shiraishi "What happened?" Shiraishi doesn't reply. Soichiro asks "Being beaten....was it your husband? You don't have to worry, you can tell me anything...." Shiraishi starts laughing "It was a lie....all of it....if I didn't do this, we would be alone together....I don't want to discuss anything with you...." Standing up she says "Hold me...." Soichiro takes a step back "I'm engaged...." "You don't understand? I asked you to hold me, not marry me...." says Shiraishi putting her head on his shoulder. Soichiro replies "Even if it's making up to you for the past?" She looks at him & says "If that's the way you feel, then that's fine too...." Soichiro turns to leave but she holds on to him "I've never been able to forget you....just making it up to me is fine...." She puts her arms around him & he holds her....

Teppei goes over to his brother's place. Mizuhara opens the door "Te-chan!" "You're here! Lat night, aniki left this at the restaurant...." handing Mizuara his organizer. "Thank you" "I'm going...." "Won't you stay for dinner?" Teppei looks at his watch "Ah...." Right then the phone rings & Mizuhara says "Ah wait...." Teppei mutters "Today...." Mizuhara answers "Hello, this is Katagiri....yes....eh?" Teppei comes into the house "Jamashimasu" Mizuhara goes "Is that right? I understand, I'll tell him....goodbye...." & hangs up. Teppei starts to say "Today I can't...." & then seeing the look on Mizuhara's face "What happened?" Mizuhara says "The police called to let him know the time of tomorrow's meeting...." "Uhm, &?" "They said that he wasn't at work today...." The both of them look at each other wondering....

Riko sits in front of the huge 'True Love never runs smooth' billboard waiting....

Teppei sits at the table waiting, looking at his watch....just past 7.30. Mizuhara sees him looking & asks "By any chance you have a meeting with Uesugi?" Teppei looks at her & then nods "Yes...." "Then go....Soichiro will be back soon...." "It's alright....I'll wait, I'll wait....doesn't matter...." "But you'll end up fighting again!" "We're always fighting anyway....whenever I don't hear her screaming away....it gets awfully quiet....feels very lonely...." "Is that so? Fighting is also evidence of love...."

Riko looks at her watch 7:50. She's in a square with lots of people, a huge electronic signboard at one end. Her phone goes off & she answers "Hello!" "It's me...." "I'm sorry, I can't make it...." "You said it first...." "No way!" "It's true...." "You promised you'd come!" "You were the one who simply said so...." Riko sounds distraught "Where are you now Teppei! Come! Come now! 'Warp' yourself here!" "What nonsense are you saying?" "Why can't you come!? Work!? Sanae-chan?" "Uhm....but....it's not....it's not what you think....hello? In any case we can always meet at the office...." "No! If you're not here right now it'll be ruined!" says Riko half in tears. Teppei listens & replies "Alright, I'm coming now, wait for me...." Riko tells him "You don't have to come anymore...." "I said I'm coming!" "It's too late!!!" says Riko. Teppei grimaces when he hears her hang up. Riko looks at the big screen which says 'Personal Messages', looks away & then walks off....

Teppei sits down, troubled. Mizuhara looks at him. He turns around, looks at her & then grabs his bag "Sorry, I have to go....sorry...." Mizuhara smile & nods at him. Just them Soichiro comes back. Mizuhara says "Welcome back" "You're here...." Teppei says "I didn't come here for that....you took the day off from work, where did you go?" "What happened?" "What do you mean what happened? Explain!" "It's got nothing to do with you...." "Is that it?" Teppei looks at Mizuhara & Soichiro explains "Do you remember someone by the name of Goh?" "The one I translated for?" "His wife was staying here illegally....was sent back....also have young children, so I took the day off trying to help...." Mizuhara says "So that was it...." Teppei tells him "In that case you should've just said so earlier, we were worried!" "Uh...." Teppei says "Then, I'm in a hurry, I'm going...." Soichiro sits down, looking rather tense, Mizuhara looks at him....

Teppei runs down the steps arriving at the place where he's supposed to meet Riko. Looking around not seeing her he looks at his watch....it'' past 8:20....looking around he finally looks at the big screen 'Send a message to the one you love, details at the information center' Teppei remembers what Riko said "No! If you're not here right now it'll be ruined!"

Teppei goes to the information center & asks "Excuse me....I'd like to ask....that big screen over there...." "Yes?" "Was there a message at 8 this evening?" "Yes there was" "There was?" "Had to be exactly at 8 too! A real bother!" "What message?" "Wait....ah here it is...." Teppei looks at it, kind of stunned....

Back outside Teppei calls Riko "Hi hi! This is Uesugi, right now I'm not at home so leave a message....beeep...." Teppei says "It's me, sorry about just now....meet me one more time at 10, where we were supposed to meet earlier....this time I'll wait for you....I'll wait for you...." Sitting in front of that 'True love never runs smooth' billboard, it's Teppei's turn. Looking at his watch it ways 9:45....9:52....9:55....His phone rings "Hello?" Riko asks "I got your message....what is it?" "Didn't I already say so?" "It's too late....there are things in life that one can never get back...." "Sorry....I never thought it was that important...." "Didn't I say you had to come?" "You're always fooling around, how was I suppose to believe you this time?" "Bye" "Wait! I want to apologize for not showing up...." "If you really mean it, do a handstand there!" "Here?" "Will you or won't you do it?" "Alright, I'll do it....wait...." Teppei puts his things down but can't do it. Riko asks "You doing it?" "Eh? Ah....yeah doing it...." "You're lying...." says Riko coming up behind him. "How do you know whether or not I'm doing it or not?" Riko hits him on his shoulder & he turns around "Yes...." & sees Riko. Riko says to him "So you're that sort of a person huh!" Riko takes the book "Love for sale" out of her bag & gives it to Teppei "Here....when you didn't show up I wanted to throw it away....but I couldn't do it....seeing that sad expression on your face....that's why I went to look for this book....but that's just my feelings....has nothing to do with how you feel about me....that's why....here...." Teppei takes it from her & Riko says "Bye...." walking off. Teppei says "Wait!" "What?" answers Riko turning around. Teppei looks at his watch "It's time...." "Time for what?" "Time for our kiss...." "What's that?! Doing as you please!" Teppei tells her "I really regret it....not showing up....I want to hold you here...." Riko is about to say something when she looks at the big screen....it lights up 'Love for Sale' & then 'Teppei, I love you....love you....love you........your Riko-chan' A screen of fireworks go off & then another message comes up 'Riko, I LOVE YOU TOO!!! Teppei' Riko's really touched but says "What's that? I won't let you kiss me just like that...." Teppei says "Why not? We're not kids...." walking towards Riko. Riko starts walking backwards moving away from Teppei "No! sukebe!" "Makes no difference if I'm sukebe or not!" "What are you doing?" "Can't I do what I want?" "No! There are reasons & conditions for everything....whether one brushes his teeth or not, the person's weight, temperature & humidity...." Riko nervously rattles on until Teppei points at her & says "Ah!" Riko stops, stunned into silence. He hands her his bag & the book "Hold this....hold this!" He looks at her & says "Look!" pointing into her eyes "There's only me there!" & kisses her. Riko looks stunned for a while & then asks "That's it?" Teppei looks at her "huh?" Riko smiles & puts her arms around him to kiss him, hitting Teppei with the book in the process "Ow!" he says, holding his head. Riko laughs & Teppei says "You...." taking two steps towards her, grabbing her & kissing her........
