"Teppei!" shouts Riko as he's going up the escalator. He turns around & scolds Riko as she comes running up "Don't shout my name so loudly like we so friendly!" "What friendly or unfriendly?" she says trying to hold his hand. Teppei pulls his away "Don't hang on to me! We're working! On top of that you're younger than I am! (my junior)" "Wait!" Riko runs after him. They enter a hall where an exhibition of Japanese dolls is taking place. Riko tries to hang on to Teppei again & he pulls away "I said don't hang on to me! Annoying!" Riko says "Exhibition of new works" & they both enter. Teppei looks around & mutters to himself "Where on earth is Hara-san?" walking off. Riko sees someone & goes up to him "Excuse me, Hara-san is...." "Ah, that's me" "Oh, I see...." says Riko looking at Teppei, who comes walking over. Hara-san asks "& who are you?" Riko says instead "The dolls' faces are really cute...." "Yes" "Used during children's festivals?" "That's right" Teppei says "Cute dolls, aren't they...." "Yes" "Hair styles & clothes, really Japanese style...." "Well, they're Japanese dolls...." "Yes that's right...." says Teppei. Taking out his card "Let me introduce myself....I'm Katagiri from the advertising agency, business department...." "Agency?" "Yes that's right" The man puts the card in his pocket & starts walking away. Teppei follows "I called yesterday...." The guy suddenly turns around "Ah, just in time, our company's president's daughter is involved in a ballet, so ballet admission tickets....please come" & goes off. ""Hara-san...." says Teppei but Riko stops him "Finished? On the way back, let's take the Hamamatsu line, have lunch on the way...." Teppei asks her irritably "That's your intention of coming here?" "Yes" "I'm working...." says Teppei walking off. Riko stops him "No one will talk if you having a meal outside with the business department's assistant" "Go eat by yourself! Hara-san! Wait up!" Mizuhara walks past & sees Teppei "Te-chan!" "Yes" answers Teppei turning around to see who called. "You cut your hair! Like returning to the past...." "Reallly?" "uhm" Teppei sees Riko watching in the background & hurriedly asks Mizuhara "Why are you here today?" "Translating...." "I don't have much time, gotta go....work hard" "uhm" Teppei leaves dragging Riko to go. She looks at Mizuhara & says "Where have I seen her before? Ah! I know!" Riko goes up to Mizuhara & introduces herself "I'm Uesugi Riko, hello" Teppei butts in between them "She's my junior, younger by 2 years, Uesugi...." "I'm Riko" "Hi" says Mizuhara. Teppei tries to pull her away but Riko asks "Why? Rare chance, if I don't say hello it'll be a pity....you must be Teppei's high school girlfriend! The Mizuhara Sanae that he still loves & can't forget, right?" Mizuhara looks stunned, Teppei says "You're too much...."

Coming down the corridor back at the office, Riko says "Mizuhara looks much more beautiful than her photograph. Her skin glowing, she must be in love, do you know who's her boyfriend?" Teppei turns around & says to her "You're a nuisance....please don't talk to me for the rest of my life!" Riko mutters to herself "What...."

Entering the office Teppei says "We're back!" & the others say "Go kurou sama" "Otsukare" (thanks for the hard work) His boss Kurosaki calls him "Katagiri!" "Yes" "How is it? Getting used to the work?" Teppei walks up to him "Eh? Can one get used to this type of work?" "Hah?" Teppei whispers into Kurosaki's ear "Going around everywhere, having to bow & saying yes to whatever the customers say....can one call this work?" "You hate bowing that much?" "No, just don't want to have to keep doing this forever...." "I see....actually, there's an inter-campaign competition on the 10th in Hokkaido, you want to try doing the presentation?" His colleagues say "That's great!" Teppei is surprised. Kurosaki hands him the documents "Try it!" & then to the colleagues "That alright?" who answer "Not bad!" Teppei smiles "I understand!" "Alright everyone back to work!" says Kurosaki, Riko smiles looking at Teppei. She brings him a drink. Teppei says "Thank you" Riko replies "Why so enthusiastic?" "Look! In charge of this project, not an easy task!" His colleagues say to him "Your luck is finally here!" "Yes, leave it to me!" "But, this is the Hokkaido inter-campaign project, what do you intend to do?" Teppei answers "I'm going start thinking about it now...." "From now?" "Yes" "The president is one of those men (sukebe), as long as you invite him to those night clubs (with girls), everything will go smoothly...." Everyone agrees "Yes! That's true!" Teppei replies "But this time, I want to try winning it the proper way...." "Ah the young! I used to think that way myself!" Kurosaki says "Katagiri! This is last year's material" handing it to Teppei........

Teppei goes for a meeting & the people greet him with "Your hair! Cut it!" His old boss says "This time, the person in charge of this project is from the business department, Katagiri!" Teppei says "Hello everyone, I'm Katagiri from the business department....firstly, this is the project for 1998 Hokkaido Inter-campaign........"

Teppei goes to his brother's place. Staring through the peep hole, the door suddenly opens & hits him on the head "Ouch!" Soichiro's opened the door & Teppei asks "Can I come in?" "Uhm" & as Teppei comes in, he sees a pair of lady's shoes in the foyer. Mizuhara says "Te-chan! Welcome! I'm making dinner right now. Eat some?" "No, it's ok." Soichiro asks "Come in for a beer then...." "No, it's fine........I came by to give you something...." "What is it?" "Tickets for the Leningrad ballet" Soichiro says "Ballet? That ballet...." "Yes, that ballet...." Mizuhara asks "Is it ok for us to see it?" Teppei replies "Of course, they're specially for the both of you...." "But why give it to us?" "You used to like this before....in any case the company got them for free, on top of that there were two tickets, so just nice for the both of you....I'm off" Soichiro asks "You're not coming in?" "Uhm....goodnight" going out leaving Soichiro & Mizuhara wondering. Teppei outside stares for a moment & then goes off........

At the nightclub, everyone's having a drink "Cheers!" Yoshimoto asks "Riko, what happened to Teppei today?" "Don't know" "Maybe he's got a date with someone." Sasaki says "Whenever he's settled down with one girl, we get the feeling that the days of our youth is ending...." Erika answers "Really? Guys find it hard to settle down with just one girl" Yoshimoto says "I don't" Sasaki says to Yoshimoto "You're always saying that you're a good kid!" Riko asks "For a guy, when will he settle down with one girl?" "When he's a grownup!" "& When is that?" "That's probably....when the feelings of wanting to do it with her...." "Feelings of wanting to do it....?" "& the feelings of wanting to be with that person...." "Feelings of wanting to be with that person...." "are special times........" Everyone says in half agreement "Yes, perhaps!" Riko says "If it's Teppei, he's got 50 years to go!" "That's probably true!"

As Teppei walks home Mizuhara comes after him calling "Te-chan! This is for you!" giving him some food. "It's ok, I've already eaten." "But you can put it in the fridge & eat it tomorrow." Teppei takes it from her "thank you" Mizuhara tells him "The flat shaped ones are salmon, triangle ones are...." "Pickled plum" "You right! How did you know?" "Just like from before! You used to make it for me often during summer vacation training." "Really?" "I remember it well. Flat shaped ones are salmon, the triangle ones are pickled plum & then a little bit of wasabi on the side." "Right!" & they both laugh. Mizuhara says "Thank you." "Uhm?" "Tickets...." "Just ask if you want to see it next time" says Teppei walking. "You haven't changed" says Mizuhara. Teppei turns around to look at her "What?" Mizuhara tells him "Pretending not to know anything on the surface, but actually being sensitive to other people." Teppei's silent for a while & then says "Thanks for this." Soichiro watches from the balcony as the both of them part........

Back at the apartment, Soichiro says "He said 'like before....'...." Mizuhara says "huh?" "You used to like ballet from before?" "I learned ballet when I was little. Te-chan & I were high school classmates, I must have mentioned it before." Soichiro says " 'Te-chan', is it?" The both of them give each other uneasy glances. Soichiro asks "Were the both of you...." Mizuhara asks "You're that worried about it? (jealous) I'm relieved!" giving a big smile........

Teppei comes home, takes off his jacket & puts the food Mizuhara gave him in the fridge. The ripped photograph is on his desk, he's taped it back together....

At a meeting, Teppei yawns as he listens "We've designed 5 posters A, B, C, D, E....we've decided to go with B. What do you think?" "Although it's simple, it's like we don't know what it's trying to say...." Teppei goes up & says "Let's use this" circling C, the poster of a scantily clad girl. "This one's too sexy." "Really? I think it's the best" "But it's too sexy...." Teppei says "That's just because the picture's badly taken....who took the picture?" "Someone within the company...." "Then why not get a famous photographer...." "But we've got a budget...." Teppei tells them "I'll think of something, I'll go look for a photographer....also this slogan 'Because it's a winter's day'...." "What's wrong with that? I came up with it...." Teppei bluntly says "It's old fashioned....why not say 'a jealous winter' or something, more refreshing...." offending the men. Teppei carries on regardless "After all this time, only managed to come up with these 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 patterns? Just what are you guys doing?" his tone rather overbearing........

Teppei comes back to the office & two of his colleagues say to him "Hey, how was the meeting? I passed by just now....heard you guys arguing...." Teppei replies "Arguing? That wasn't arguing....just a discussion...." "Wow, what a discussion! What about lunch?" "Yeah, go together?" "Lunch....I still want to work a bit...." "Really enthusiastic!" As the 2 guys leave "How about going for Chinese?" "Chinese?" "Maybe Japanese is better...." "But that Japanese restaurant nearby is really bad...."

Teppei takes out the bento (packed lunch box) that Mizuhara gave him the night before. Just then Riko come by & sees "Ah! Obento! Pork cutlets & onigiri! Wow! Fantastic! Who did it for you?" Teppei pushes her away "Yeah, who huh! Guys like me, girls who will pack meals for me are plenty!" Riko says "It's Mizuhara Sanae!" Teppei looks up. Riko teases "Carrots in the pork cutlet, even if you don't like it you'll have to finish it. All because of Te-chan, cut it into heart shaped pieces, if you have any leftovers, Sanae will feel hurt." "Mizuhara's not as you say...." Riko says "Ha, so it was her!" Teppei's turn to riddle Riko "In any case you don't know how to make these...." "I'm not one of those stereotyped girls who will use cooking to get to a man's heart." "Yes yes, you don't have to say anymore....look look, see how perfect this triangular one is, can you make it as perfect as this triangle?" "Of course I can make all the shapes of onigiri." "Really?" "& make it beautifully too" Teppei slides over & takes her hand looking at her finger nails "Let me see, what color is this? You make it with this hand & I lose my appetite!" Riko reaches over & grabs one of the onigiris & Teppei shouts "Stop it!" She turns around & pretends she's about to eat it & looks over to see one of the guys behind. Riko says "I'll give it back....such an important thing...." returning it. "I'm going out for lunch, anyone else want to go together?" The one guy replies "I don't take lunch" "Oh? In that case, I'm going...." & she goes out, giving Teppei a stare. Teppei turns around & asks the guy "You're diabetic?" "Oh" Taking a bite into the onigiri, he says "This is really delicious!"

At Riko's apartment Erika & Riko are having dinner. Riko says "Itadakimasu" (let's eat) & is about to start when Erika asks "Riko, where are the glasses?" "Aren't they in the cupboard?" "Cupboard?" "Got it?" "Yes!" Riko takes a mouthful "Delicious! These crab croquet from the restaurant." Erika says sitting down "Your kitchen is always so clean, don't you ever cook?" "In this world where you can cheaply buy such delicious food, why should I make them myself? The thought of women who's only job is to cook for men just makes me mad!" "Cheers!" Erika asks "Who are you talking about?" "Katagiri Teppei." "Teppei? Isn't he a good guy?" "Good? Him? Absolutely not!" "Why?" "He pretends he's so cool but in reality is old fashioned & demanding....just looking at him I feel like fighting with him...." Erika smiles "Riko, do you know that love starts from repulsion?" "hmm?" "Same as a magnet's plus & minus....men & women are the same....everyone argues when they have a difference of opinion, but then in a split second, they can be together!" "What? That's nauseating! You're kidding! Stop it, let's eat!"

Teppei cooking in the kitchen says "I get angry soon as I see her." Yoshimoto asks "Her as in Riko-chan?" "Don't call her Riko-chan, sounds terrible....I think that Riko is one of those self-centered people. Even if she were stuck on top of a snowy mountain with a man, she'd be the type to finish all the food just to survive...." Putting the food on the table Teppei says "Try out how it tastes...." Yoshimoto takes a mouthful "Delicious!" Teppei tosses a bottle of water to him & he catches it. Opening it he says "But, I like that...." "What?" "The type of girl that will fight to the end to survive" "You like that type?" "Uhm" "So you're really the kind that likes these sort of girls....the type that are like kids, insensitive, selfish....that type of girl meets your requirement?" "Don't say it like that! Don't criticize my taste in food & girls!" "Sorry" says Teppei. Yoshimoto reaches for the soy sauce & uses it, Teppei says to him "Don't put in soy sauce!"

At the office lobby Teppei comes running after one of the creative group guys "Wait up!" Riko comes by just in time to hear them talking "What is the meaning of instructing the boss? Everyone's upset at the way you work. We don't like people from the business department interfering. Business be more like business! Collect research data, do the marketing etc that's enough. If you don't mind, work all night & get the data compiled." Teppei says "ok, I understand....understand. I won't interfere with the planning groups' ideas. I'll compile the data done accordingly....please, please carry on working with me, please!" Teppei bows to the guy who says "Why has it come to this? So you're really one of those who will bow to people so easily. I am merely a former colleague, doesn't it bother you?" Teppei raises his voice stopping him "It doesn't bother me that's why I'm begging you! Sorry....I don't want to lose to the idea of those who refuse to bow to others....please...." Teppei bows again but the guy just leaves. Teppei looks up & sees Riko watching him....He walks past her to go up as she leaves........

It's the weekend & Teppei's in the office working alone. He goes inside getting some material & Riko comes in. Teppei gets a shock when he comes out & sees her "Scared me! What are you doing here?" Riko holding a bento box behind her back reaches for a pair of scissors "Scissors!" "Quit fooling around! What are you going to cut this time?" "Just joking, joking!" "Joking? My hair's already cut this short!" "Kidding...." says Riko, going up to him & putting the bento box on the table in front of Teppei. "This is to make up for it...." "You made this?" "You don't know my strengths! Look look look........" she says opening it up. "Looks delicious doesn't it?" "Looks alright." "Try it!" Teppei takes one & looks at it "Where have I seen something like this before?" Riko looks a little sheepish "Oh? I'll make some tea....tea...." "I know! This! This is bought from that convenient store isn't it!" Riko says "Found me out....too bad...." "Can't believe you! You have to know that I live alone. I know which convenient stores sell the most delicious onigiri." Riko tells him "Stop complaining! Eat it! & then start working!" She goes over & looks at the laptop "What's this? What are you doing? Don't put all the figures together, you have to use a simple graph so that even the idiots can understand with one look." She gets Teppei out of the chair & sits down muttering "What an absolute mess! Absolute...." Teppei mutely looks at her & she says "You're welcome." "Huh?" "You're saying 'Thank you' in your heart. I heard it, so I'm just answering." "What are you saying, like an idiot...."

Teppei's cell phone rings & he answers "Hello?" It's Soichiro "Teppei? I'm sorry but, could you go to the ballet in my place? I'm tied up at the office." "But I'm busy here too...." "Please! After the ballet I'll go over to her place for dinner....you come too, I'll get some wine....thanks!" Soichiro hangs up as some guys bring in a guy in handcuffs....

Riko asks "What happened?" "Something's come up that I've got to do....sorry, you don't have to help, I'll do it later....' "Where are you going?" "On a date! A date! Busy!" "With Sanae?" Teppei doesn't answer, just runs our leaving Riko alone in the office....

Teppei goes to meet up with Mizuhara "Sorry, aniki can't come to see this...." "Oh." Teppei tells her "You're dressed different than normally....what time do we start going in?" "5.30 but...." she points to a sigh. Teppei looks "Cancelled?"

Leaving the place Mizuhara says "Feels like this happened before too." "Really?" "During the high school trip, we wanted to sneak off to an inn, the inn was closed!" "Ah! You're right! So we ended up talking the whole night. Thinking about it now, I was a good person then!" "eh?" "Together with a girl all night & nothing happened is an impossible thought for me now...." "But you used to go after other girls too...." says Mizuhara laughing. Teppei tells her "But you were different....I don't really know....it's like 'the most favorite & beautiful sweet (or cake), afraid of messing it up so keep it in the case & not touch it' kind of feeling...." "Really? I never knew! If I had known...." "When one grows up, one understands a lot of things....& there's also a lot of things that one can never make up for...." "Hey, how about dinner together? Soichiro will be coming too." "You feel safer (more relieved) going out with my brother that with me don't you...." "uhm" "Wrong?" "Soichiro loves his work....we don't date that often, & when we're together, he has to go off because of work." "Busy, can't be helped...." "I think so too, but, how to put it....it's different with you....Soichiro is the kind who's face doesn't show his feelings....sometimes I feel uneasy too.... 'ah, am I intruding'.... 'does he love me'.... I wonder sometimes....the next time he breaks another date I'll get you to take his place (to compensate)" Teppei gets upset "What are you saying? Don't say that!" "Sorry." "When you're feeling lonely or uneasy, you should tell my brother....I can't do anything...." "You're right, sorry!"

Soichiro comes home with a bottle of wine & a little package. Putting some magazines away he sees a photograph sticking out & taking it out, looks at it. It's the high school photo of Teppei & Sanae....

In the office, Riko is still working away. Tiredly she says "I guess I should go home already...." getting up. She looks at the bento & taking a piece out, she eats & sits back down & continues working "This is delicious!"

Mizuhara opens the door to Soichiro's apartment & says to Teppei "Looks like Soichiro's home" Going in she says "I'm back!" & Teppei goes in "Jamashimasu" Soichiro says to Teppei "You're here too!" "Yes" Soichiro is in the kitchen & when Mizuhara sees she says "I'll do it!" Teppei asks "What are you doing?" & seeing Soichiro slicing something "You'd better not do that....if you do it well, that later on you'll suffer for it! I'm not kidding!" Mizuhara tells Soichiro "Go sit down." Soichiro replies "ok then....come on" he tells Teppei. Going into the living room Soichiro says "The both of you used to go out together, right? If that's the case, then just say it. Did you think I'd mind?" Mizuhara says "I'm sorry." Teppei says "Well....we'll explain...." Mizuhara says "The reason for not telling you is that we didn't want you to start worrying....we dated before....but that was really....childhood friendship...." Teppei adds "That's right, right....those high school dates were just going to movies or going bicycling only....just that....ah, maybe held hands...." Soichiro says "I understand....thank you. Let's open the wine...." Teppei says "I shouldn't be here...." but Soichiro says "You sit here...." Teppei sits down & sees the package behind Soichiro's briefcase "What's this? Tiffany...." "It's a present." "Huh?" "Actually I wanted to give this to her after the ballet...." "Her?" "Uhm" Soichiro gives it to Mizuhara who says "Can I open it?" "Uhm" nods Soichiro. Teppei watches as Mizuhara opens it....it's a daimond ring. Mizuhara says "This is....?" Soichiro says "This....let my brother be a witness....please marry me....although I'm very busy with work, & that may cause you to be lonely but I'll do my best to make you happy...." Teppei looks a little upset at first....then smiles....Mizuhara is touched....Soichiro is nervously perspiring away.... Teppei says to his brother "Oi, handkerchief! Handkerchief!" & Soichiro digs in his pocket. Finally Teppei throws him his "What are you doing?" Mizuhara says "Please marry me....I'm really happy...." There's silence & Soichiro wipes his perspiration with Teppei's handkerchief instead. Finally Teppei says "This is great! Done! The witness' job is concluded beautifully! Open the wine." Soichiro is still stunned "Eh?" "Wine!" points Teppei....Soichiro finally moves & opens the wine telling Teppei "Get the glasses." "Why do I have to?" mutters Teppei as he goes into the kitchen. Teppei opens the glass cabinet looking upset saying "I'll just take whichever...." "Fine...."

Teppei leaves....outside Soichiro's house he pauses, upset.....

Arriving back at theoffice he sees Riko still working. "You're still here?" "You're really late!" "Thank you for everything today." "I'm still not done yet...." Teppei tells her abruptly "That's enough....thanks, you can go home now...." Riko gets upset "What's with that tone? Although I'm only an ordinary worker, not only for the company but looking at how hard you're working, that's why I'm helping & working! What's this 'That's enough! Go home!' Really funny!" Riko grabs her bag to leave & Teppei says "Mizuhara & my brother are engaged." "huh?" "Mizuhara....Sanae-chan....is engaged to my brother...." Riko tries to cheer him up "But....if you still love her....then grab her back from your brother! Love has to be fought for!" Teppei gets mad, bangs his hand on the desk & yells angrily at her "That is impossible!" Riko is stunned into silence & quietly says "I'm going home...." Teppei sits working & reaches for an onigiri, taking a bite & looks at it thinking........

At the office the next morning Teppei looks through his work on the laptop, Riko giving him side glances but both not talking. One of the guys says "Time to go" "Take this too!" handing some documents over. "We going" "Don't be lazy when we're out!" "Of course not!" Kurosaki says "Katagiri...." "Yes?" "Come here for a bit." "ok." As Teppei goes out, Riko's cell phone rings "Yes? Yoshimoto?"

Out in the corridor Kurosaki says to Teppei "Give up the Hokkaido Inter-campaign project." "Huh?" "I'll tell them that you've resigned to refuse the project." "What's the meaning of resigning?" "The design group have not prepared the materials...." "That's the truth?" "Yes" Teppei turns to go but Kurosaki says "Wait! You're too direct in front of them....to the point of offending them & injuring their pride. Working with others....one has to also accept others' opinions. Otherwise it's going to be hard to go on working....remember this well."

At the nightclub Yoshimoto says to Riko "In Evangelion, this girl Anayami Rei is the most famous. Although she's cute, I prefer Asuka....how to put it....her character is very attractive....a lot like you...." Riko says "I've got to record a program for a friend, have to go...." taking her things & leaving. "What program?" asks Yoshimoto. "Some quiz game show....you know, that one....sorry!"

Riko goes home & outside her apartment stops, takes out her cell phone & calls Teppei "Hello?" "Guess who? If you don't answer in 3 seconds the phone will self-destruct....1....2...." "Don't you feel silly doing this sort of thing? Really silly...." "Where are you now?" "& where are you now?" "Me? I'm with Yoshimoto at the bar....having a lot of fun....maybe go off to a hotel later...." "Uhm, so...." "What about you? Feeling depressed & alone, looking at Mizuhara's photograph?" The security guard comes in & says "Gokurou sama....lock up when you leave, alright?" Riko hears & asks "What are you doing?" "Sorry, I'm still working." "You're still at the office?" "Eh?" "But that work has already been...." "My work isn't finished yet." says Teppei hanging up her. "Not finished yet?" mutters Riko.

Instead of going home, Riko goes to the office to look for Teppei. He isn't there but she sees the bento box on her desk. Picking it up she sees a note on the table with the figures '39!' "san-kyu (thank you)....how old fashioned!" She sees the security guard looking at the door & she asks "Excuse me, the guy that was here....messy hair & round eyed guy...." "He's gone to the roof top." "Roof top?"

Riko runs to the roof top & sees Teppei spray painting on a sheet he's placed on the ground. Teppei says "I wanted to finish this to use it for the Hokkaido poster....actually, it's not for expressing myself or wanting praise from others....just want to do some responsible job for myself....this month I've been bowing to other people, & time is just passing by....although I can say 'this is work'....very easily, I haven't given up yet. First, I don't want to change myself because of work, so I only want to do a little something that I'm competent at." Riko says "It's awful! This is the first time I've seen such a terrible drawing!" Teppei gets insulted & shouts at her "It's an image! An image! Don't you understand? Don't understand....actually I wanted to get a professional photographer to take this picture." Riko says "People like you are rare....a flirt, petty, terrible attitude, arrogant...." "Shut up!" "I used to think you were really despicable...." "But now you've see different....seeing this, you're thinking that I have artistic talent, patience...." Riko agrees "Then again....since you've come all this way, don't give up! Even if you get beaten up, like a cockroach...." "Are you really praising me or not?" "Of course!" says Riko standing up. With a paintbrush in hand she says "Ladies & Gentlemen! This year's winner of the advertising trophy goes to Mr Katagiri Teppei!" "Teppei!" Riko says clapping. Teppei stands up & plays along "Thank you very much. Let's drink to...." Riko stops him "Wait! Wait!" & runs off. Teppei mutters "What? Running off during the celebration...."

Teppei opens the bottle of champagne with a pop. Riko says "Congratulations to the winner!" & Teppei goes "Thank you! Thank you everyone!" Riko says "There's no one around....cheers!" Teppei asks "Where did you get this?" "This is kachou's, hidden in the cupboard....can't hide it from me...." "Anything happens tomorrow, I won't help you...." "But, you're the one who opened it!" Riko climbs up & Teppei says "That's dangerous! Stop it!" "It's beautiful! Come & see! Look!" Teppei climbs up & looks "Wow! Fantastic! Can we see my house I wonder?" "Which way?" "That way I guess...."

On the way home Teppei says to a rather tipsy Riko "You can come over to my place to drink, but don't get drunk. I won't look after you." "I know" "Do you really?" "Being a salaryman is tough huh! But being an OL is tough too!" Teppei says to her "So young....don't talk like you're that old! In any case, you're just day dreaming every day...." Riko running into the street says "That's mean!" Teppei says "Watch it! It's dangerous!" Riko continues "There are times when I feel like quitting too....but there are times when I think I'm really lucky to be alive in this world...." "There are times when you feel lucky?" "Of course!" "Like when you're drawing cartoons or collecting Hello Kitty things...." Riko starts laughing really weird & Teppei says "Why are you laughing like that? Really scary!" "That's.... that's...." says Riko climbing on the railing. Teppei tells her "Watch it! That dangerous! Get down!" Riko sings "That's a secret no one knows...." Riko loses her balance as Teppei says "Watch it!" & grabs a hold of her. Teppei smacks her on the back of her head "I said it's dangerous!" & walks ahead, Riko looking at Teppei, the look on her face saying she's in love with him. Riko says "I'm going home!" Teppei stops & turns back "Why?" "It's terrible when I get drunk....& recently I seem to get drunk easily....getting old I guess...." "What are you saying?" "Going back to what we talked about earlier....the times I feel lucky....I'll tell you!" "Ah, what?" "When there's someone I like!" Teppei thinks for a second then walks up to her saying "Ah! There's someone you like right now!" Suddenly Riko points up into the sky "Ahh!" Teppei looks up into the sky & Riko stares at him. Teppei turns back to Riko "huh?" Riko says "Only an idiot would look! Bye! Goodnight!" waving as she walks away. Teppei looking at her, waves, a smile on his face....

(-= CJ =- For some reason I like the way Teppei smacks Riko on the back of her head, rather affectionate methinks....unfortunately Riko in this episode annoys me to bits!)
